State of the City: From 2025 Wins to a Bold 2026
Lake Elsinore is a city of opportunity, energy, and bold vision. Our 2025 progress reflects our commitment to making this community the ultimate place to live, work, and play.
Downtown continues to grow and evolve, strengthened by over $70 million in revitalization projects, including a brand-new Library on Main Street, a modern City Hall, road improvements, enhanced landscaping, and other updates that make our downtown more accessible and engaging. These projects reinforce downtown as a cornerstone of the City’s growth and provide spaces for learning, commerce, and community connection.
Lake Elsinore is also thriving as Southern California’s premier destination for action and extreme sports. Investments in recreation, like the revitalization of the Links at Summerly Golf Course and upgrades to the Lake Elsinore Raceway, provide venues for both residents and visitors to enjoy world-class experiences. The stunning lake has been reenergized and has hosted competitive and family-friendly events, from the Hobie Dream Extreme Regatta to the Kids Fishing Derby and Live at the Lakefront concerts, demonstrating that Lake Elsinore is a place where outdoor adventure and recreation thrive year-round.
Our City’s economy continues to expand with new businesses, industrial developments, and residential growth. In 2025 alone, 89 new commercial businesses opened, contributing to $33.6 million in commercial and industrial valuation. Projects like Mason Motorsports’ new headquarters and the Fairway Business Park Phase III strengthen the City’s industrial base and provide jobs, while over $81.9 million in residential valuation, including hundreds of new homes, is creating strong neighborhoods and opportunities for families to settle and grow. Educational opportunities are growing as well, with Vista Lago Global Academy providing innovative learning for students, while Lake Elsinore Urgent Care ensures residents have access to quality healthcare close to home. Together, these investments support families, attract new residents, and strengthen the City’s long-term growth.
The safety and well-being of our residents remain our highest priority. Riverside County Sheriff’s, Riverside County Cal Fire, and City Net workers continue to protect the community, provide support, and build trust across neighborhoods. Homeless outreach efforts are creating opportunities and pathways to stability for those in need, resulting in a 51 percent decrease in homelessness in the City and reflecting Lake Elsinore’s dedication to prevention, preparedness, and compassion.
Lake Elsinore continues to be a place where opportunity is real, community is strong, and bold ambitions take shape. Together, we are turning bold dreams into reality and shaping the Lake Elsinore of tomorrow.
