Schools
One of Riverside County’s oldest school systems, Lake Elsinore Unified School District (LEUSD) operates across much of Southwest Riverside County, serving families in Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, and Wildomar, and several unincorporated Riverside County communities, including Lakeland Village and Horsethief Canyon.
The district is the 49th largest district in the state of California, and operates 12 elementary schools, four middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, two K-8 schools, and four alternative education schools. District-wide, nearly 2,500 district staff teach over 21,000 TK-12 students each day. LEUSD engages students in innovative and diverse ways, including dual immersion, AVID, STEAM, visual and performing arts, Career and Technical education, advanced placement, and much more.



Higher Education
Both Mt San Jacinto College (MSJC), and Cal State University of San Marcos service the Lake Elsinore area. MSJC provides the culinary arts and hospitality program, Allied Health, Digital Media, Cyber Security, to name a few, and Cal State University of San Marcos University offer bachelor’s degrees in business administration, software engineering, and an accelerated bachelors degree in nursing to support the local economy and regional needs.
